ASIAN AEROSPACE 2000, SINGAPORE -- Feb. 24, 2000 -- ST Training & Simulation Pte Ltd (STTS) and Logicon International Inc. have signed a letter of intent to pursue information system/information technology (IS/IT) opportunities in regional and global markets.

STTS is a subsidiary of Singapore Technologies Electronics Ltd (ST Elect). Logicon International Inc. is a subsidiary of Logicon Inc., a Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) company.
The letter, signed at Asian Aerospace 2000, signifies the two companies' agreement to work together in areas such as local and regional defense requirements and civil and commercial opportunities calling for single system and system-of-systems applications of advanced IS/IT.
"STTS and Logicon plan to conclude a Memorandum of Understanding soon," said Mr. Yon Thiam Chong, president of STTS. "We are building a synergistic relationship to address mutual regional and global interests, and deliver information technology products to our defense and civilian customers."
STTS has extensive expertise in providing the simulation and training industry with turnkey and customized solutions. In Singapore and in the Asian region, it is a one-stop solutions provider, developing new and innovative products and services, and providing maintenance and upgrade services.
