HERNDON, Va. -- Nov. 12, 2001 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) and IBM announced today they have been selected to provide the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) with Storage-on-Demand Services.

The award enables Northrop Grumman and IBM to install and manage the IBM Enterprise Storage Server at each of the DISA MegaCenters in Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Columbus, Ohio.

"This win is significant for us on a number of fronts," said Rene LaVigne, president, Computing Solutions, Northrop Grumman Information Technology. "We can present our customer with a new, dynamic method to address its enterprise storage needs that conserves costs, minimizes management efforts and avoids technology obsolescence. In addition, this project is a crucial step forward in our strategic relationship with a true industry leader, IBM."

Northrop Grumman estimates the contract value to its Information Technology sector will exceed $2 million in storage product solutions and services over the next three years.
