MCLEAN, Va. – May 13, 2005 – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has named Frank W. Moore director of communications for the company’s $5.2 billion Information Technology (IT) sector, effective June 1. Moore, 38, will report to James O’Neill, president of Northrop Grumman IT.

Moore, who joined the company in 1999 and most recently served as corporate director of media relations, will oversee all communications and branding activities with target audiences including customers, partners, employees, members of the media and industry analysts. He will lead the sector’s external strategic communications efforts, planning and implementing comprehensive media and advertising programs to support new business opportunities. Internally, Moore will manage executive and employee communications.

Since 2001, Moore has served as corporate director, media relations, developing and implementing broad-based external communications programs to support the company’s business objectives and philosophies. He has provided communications counsel and media strategy to the executive leadership team, including the chairman and chief executive officer, and has managed the media activities for corporate acquisitions including several companies that have been incorporated into the IT sector.
Moore joined Northrop Grumman in 1999 as director of executive and employee communications responsible for speaking opportunities for senior corporate executives.
His previous positions include serving as a vice president with Fleishman-Hillard, Inc., Los Angeles, and vice president, investor relations and corporate communications, for Cal Fed Bancorp Inc., Los Angeles.
Moore earned a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University.
