NORTHROP GRUMMAN APPOINTS ALBERT A. PISANI VICE PRESIDENT

MCLEAN, Va. - July 7, 2005 - Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has named Albert A. Pisani vice president of information superiority within the company’s Information Technology (IT) sector.  Pisani reports to Sidney E. Fuchs, president of Northrop Grumman IT’s TASC business unit.

Pisani replaces James J. Lindenfelser, who has been named vice president of customer relationship management, reporting to James R. O’Neill, president of Northrop Grumman IT.

As vice president of information superiority, Pisani is responsible for leading business development and overseeing numerous contracts for the company’s U.S. Department of Defense, intelligence, federal and commercial customers. Previously, Pisani was director of homeland security for the TASC business unit. He began his career at the IT sector in 1989 and supported intelligence solutions for the military’s tactical warfighters.

Pisani earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in policy analysis from the University of Pittsburgh. He was a university fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in foreign politics, international relations and the national interest seminar program.

“Al has served our business unit for many years, growing our national tactical and intelligence integration division and successfully heading our homeland security program office,” said Fuchs. “Also, his invaluable experience leading the overall homeland security initiative for the corporation will bring the necessary skills and understanding to better serve the needs of our customers.”
