HERNDON, Va. -- Oct. 15, 2001 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE: NOC) Information Technology (IT) sector today announced that one of its European subsidiaries has entered into a significant new contract with the NATO C3 Agency (NC3A) on behalf of the participating NATO nations. The total value of the purchase for the IT sector's Logicon Europe Ltd. unit is undisclosed.
NORTHROP GRUMMAN SOFTWARE CONTROLS SUCCESSFUL GROUND-BASED MIDCOURSE DEFENSE SEGMENT FLIGHT TEST
HERNDON, Va. -- Oct. 15, 2001 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) provided the ground command and control software for a recent successful flight test of The Boeing Company's booster for the ground -based Midcourse Defense Segment (GMDS) program, formerly the National Missile Defense program. The launch took place late this summer from Vandenberg AFB, Calif.
