Knowledge is shared across the enterprise and throughout Northrop Grumman to leverage both our health and human services expertise and our corporation's extensive IT qualifications. We have on staff health professionals with MDs and PhDs, as well as IT professionals with knowledge of health information exchange, clinical trials and scientific research, public health surveillance and informatics, and enterprise systems and solutions.
We can help clients meet strategic objectives with mission-enabling solutions, such as information exchange for electronic health records, healthcare benefits administration reform and surveillance related to critical health concerns. A recognized leader in information assurance and security, Northrop Grumman delivers the right balance between access to health information and the protection this information requires. We have implemented enterprise-wide systems for many of the largest government agencies. Northrop Grumman also has more Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)-appraised entities than any other commercial concern. The Civilian Agencies business group, of which Health & Human Services is a part, was recently assessed at CMMI Level 5. Our approaches are consistent with the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), ensuring consistent application of industry-proven best practices.
