Northrop Grumman will be participating at the AMIA Annual Symposium this fall. We support bioinformatics, clinical informatics, and public health informatics.

Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) 2007 Annual Conference, November 2-7, Washington, DC

The 2007 AAMC Annual Meeting brings together those in academic medicine, including medical schools and teaching hospitals. The meeting will attract approximately 3,600 leaders from medical colleges, teaching hospitals and academic societies. 

eHealth Initiative (eHI) Annual Conference, October 10-12, Washington, DC

The eHI annual conference will be held October 10-12, 2007, at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC. Northrop Grumman, in partnership with Axolotl, is sponsoring the opening night reception and an invitation-only dinner that follows on October 11. In addition, Ron Sugar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Northrop Grumman Corporation, will be giving a keynote on Connecting Communities and Using Data to Improve Healthcare for Patients on October 12. 2007 Oracle Clinical User Group, October 10-11, Atlanta, GA

Per the Oracle Clinical User Group website, "[t]he Oracle Clinical User Group (OCUG) is an international group of users of the Oracle Clinical software and related applications. Oracle Clinical is a database system for capturing, storing and processing clinical trial data. The purpose of the OCUG is to facilitate the exchange of information and experience among users of the system, and to support and guide the Oracle Corporation with respect to further development of the products within the Oracle Life Sciences (OLS) applications suite."

Creating a Global Partnership in Public Health Informatics
(PHI 2007), September 16-18, 2007, Seattle, WA

Northrop Grumman is excited to be one of the sponsors of this first-ever conference in global public health informatics. To be held September 16-18, 2007, in Seattle, Washington, at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center, "[t]he goal of the Global Public Health Informatics Partnership is to define and develop a framework for addressing strategic information issues and requirements." 

Public Health Information Network (PHIN) Fifth Annual Conference, August 27-29, Atlanta, GA

With the theme "Harmonizing Public Health Voices in National Health IT," the annual PHIN conference will be held in Atlanta, GA. The conference will address implementation of PHIN within the other national health IT initiatives underway. We will participate with staff from our Public Health division leading the way.

15th Anniversary LVAAA Forum, August 12-16, San Diego, CA

The Keynote Speaker for the conference is Julie Louise Gerberding, MD, MPH, who is Director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Administrator of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR).
